MatchesFashion is one of my favorite destinations to shop for luxury items. They have fast shipping and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend them to my friends, and readers whether they’re purchasing a gift or something special for themselves. If you’re in LA, stop by Matches Fashion pop up residency near the Frieze LA Art Fair.

Please note the residency is not at the Frieze LA Art Fair, but at a separate address (not far away), at the Simon House 1113 N Hillcrest Road Trousdale Estates Beverly Hills. Read more about the event HERE.

Camel cardigan similar // Split hem Leggings (wearing a small, tip: size down) // Hat // Sweatshirt in medium// Edith Chloe Bag vintage// Mules tts // $15 sunglasses

Spring is just around the corner, however, it’s not short sleeves weather yet. Bring on the light layers and sporty caps, I’m ready. I forgot how much I love the baseball hat and sweatshirt combo! Reid and I enjoyed Valentines Day lattes downtown Alpharetta. Both the company and sunshine was more than welcome. I linked my layers below for easy shopping.

What do you think?

I’m not a huge black Friday person, but I do LOVE a random score. I found this storage bench 40% off for my boys room, damper for Reid’s espresso machine, socks from Nordstrom, boots 40% off and vitamins from Mary Ruth 30% off. I’m bringing pies for Thanksgiving at our friend’s house. Where are you going?

Let me know what you find!

Just discovered these silk pjs. I’m wearing them as I write this.

Dog food that comes to your door, use code SHALICE

Kamut Flour that’s good for you. I think I lose weight eating it because it fills me up! (it also has extra protein)

My favorite collagen (lean body system, Lemon is my fave) is on sale plus you get collagen foam and a gold spoon FREE.

This crop tee looks KILLER with flares.

Your room just may be missing an olive tree. Here’s a dupe of the one I have.

Read Levi’s birth story here. I can’t believe he will be 3 years old in a couple weeks.

Coco Chanel said,

“In order to be irreplaceable, one most always be different.

There’s many ways to style a peasant top for fall, but this is my favorite way: denim. Shorts or jeans! Here’s the flares I’m wearing and shorts. If you live in a cooler climate, I’d recommend adding a camel coatigan. Which is your favorite?

It’s my favorite time of year, but I also feel like it’s halfway through the summer and I get a little panicky. We have a summer bucket list, but have barely made a dent, can you relate? I rounded up some comfortable patriotic outfits for staying in or going out. Stay tuned for NSALE coverage coming up.

Versatile Workwear I Love

One thing I’m trying to do more of lately is give you all more workwear inspiration. I know a lot of you are corporate women who need some ideas for all kinds of outfits! Because I don’t head into a formal office every day, I like to try and put together both fashionable and versatile looks that can work for the office, but also for any other event on your calendar. Today, I am showing you one of my favorite brands for this kind of style – Tommy Hilfiger! Tommy Hilfiger is a classic brand in my opinion and I know whatever I pick from them will be perfect for any occasion. I went for these straight, cropped trousers and a preppy cardigan I’m wearing as a top (one of the fall trends to watch!). From flowy blouses to a silk cami with a blazer – the options for what to wear on the bottom are endless! I also had to top it off with a little animal print clutch and a white mule because they’ve become a wardrobe staple for this mama. Do you guys want more office looks? Let me know and I’ll put some together! This whole look can be found at Nordstrom, one of my favorite places to shop. I can’t wait to style this again!

Thank you Tommy Hilfiger for sponsoring this post!

My in-laws are in town and date nights were the original plan. However, life had other plans. Levi got sick and won’t let go of me, so goodbye freedom and yummy Italian food at Gales alone with Reid. Oh well, my mother-in law organized my kitchen cabinets so I can’t complain too much. We got a raincheck for a date night at Gale’s.

I found this polka dot camisole online on sale — love the print. It came with a skirt that I also ordered. However, it didn’t look good on me. So I styled it with my old favorite denim, practical hat (in this 100 degree heat) and pink blush sandals.

Day Heels in Red // Georgette Top (I got a size 38 a US6, one size bigger than usual bc they were almost sold out but I liked how flowy it was) // Jeans // Sunglasses (20% off!)// Turquoise earrings // Simillar Chloe Bag

Nearly four thousand reviews do not lie. These Day Heels are 5 star: comfy, buttery soft, and chic. And just when I thought that wasn’t possible!

The elasticized back allows movement and no blisters. I’ve worn these for hours and no blisters. I always want a heel without pain. Especially on days I am mostly on my feet or running to meetings on the west side.

Here I styled the red day heel with a leopard billowy top, skinny jeans, and small Chloe Faye bag for date night but stay tuned as I’m not done with these babies yet.

How would you style the red day heels?

8 Blogging Tips

by Shalice Noel

trench worn in small // polka dot camisole from Express here is similar and similar // red day heels in size 9 (TTS so comfy!) // shorts // jeans // turquoise ring (similar)

1 // CONSISTENCY Post and write daily // Tell your audience what to expect and follow through.

2 // COLLABORATION Together we are stronger, do not shy away from partnering with a like minded bloggers. I once did a shoot with another fashion blogger, Sheryl from Walk in Wonderland and it was so fun! We shared each other on our blogs. Remember, collaboration over competition.

3 // BRANDING Think of your blog as your brand. Sit down and wrote down what your brand is about in 5 sentences.

4 // KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE Study you analytics, straight out ask them. Watch youtube videos on how to find your super power. Ask yourself what is something I know that no one else does or does as well as I do? Am I story telling? In marketing 101, we learn nothing is sold by just sharing facts. You must use story telling to sell your product. Are you telling your story and if so, how is your audience responding?

5 // JUST DO IT Not to sound cliché, but running a business is equal parts heart and head. Go outside the norm, challenge yourself. Do something that makes you scared. My college professor once said boldly, “Take holy risks.” I haven’t forgotten it.

6 // WORK HARDER AND SMARTER // Hustle, work until the work is done, make lists, and delegate. If you’re not good editing, find someone who is! Another pair of eyes is always helpful. I have a virtual assistant who is SO HELPFUL. Many days I wear many hats, from styling, creative directing, modeling to administration. All of it. You get the point! Don’t be afraid to jump in. If there is something you’re not an expert in, google it, and find someone who is. Don’t be afraid to reach out to another blogger. Collaborate! We all have separate gifts.

7 // STAY THE COURSE Slow and steady won the race.

8 // TEACH YOURSELF NEW THINGS, from hair braiding to coding to photoshop to video editing. A successful entrepreneur is ALWAYS learning.

Any tips you have? I’d love to hear.

Happy Thursday!
