One thing I love about Nordstrom is their awesome selection, customer service and brands! I have SO many brands at my fingertips (mostly at 1am) on Nordstrom.com, from investment pieces to essential tee’s and affordable bandana’s. All of which I plan on stocking up on the latter for our road trip this summer. More on that later. Meanwhile, these white pants are completely on trend and very versatile. I’m loving everything laced-up from sweaters to high waist pants. See more of my picks below. 5 Coated Denim with Nordstrom

Partnering with Nordstrom is always a favorite job because their style and selection never disappoints, which makes my job that much easier. Today I’m going to go out on a limb and make a case for the lesser known cousin to traditional denim, the coated denim. With all the denim everywhere, it’s always good to mix it up. Here are my top 5 faves from Nordstrom.  The burgundy denim boasts a post-Christmas, binge-friendly lycra waistband, a flattering leg, and not to mention, an awesome price. As soon as these arrived in the mail, I tried them on, did my usual tight-jean dance and called these a winner. As for styling tips, I went with my usual size and paired it with an oversize distressed sweater and my husband’s scarf. 2016 A Year in Review

5 Faux Fur I’m crushing on with Nordstrom

I partnered with Nordstrom to share some holiday outfit inspiration, minus the ugly sweater. I’m currently loving this ruffle bodysuit (great sizing), faux fur and a pop of red clutch. Nordstrom has been offering some awesome faux fur options for the holiday season from cobalt to brown. Despite being faux, their jackets look like real fur and it bumps up the chic level for almost any outfit. For example, I would also would wear it over this slip dress. So chic.

Don’t forget there’s in-store pick up for those days you’re running behind. Oh wait, that’s everyday. There’s nothing better than picking up a bag of goodies already paid for, no lines, and no worries. It’s been a busy week with family in town, so I will try out the Nordstrom pick -up option, bring one of my kids, get hot chocolate and call it a date! Hope you have a lovely weekend.

An outfit I could wear everyday with Nordstrom

I partnered with Nordstrom, sharing some versatile pieces I’m loving now. Namely, these faux leather leggings on major repeat! Some of my favorite purchases are the most simple: an oversize sweater (under $50),  faux leather leggings (only $29), and an investment accessory: Burberry plaid scarf. I like the latter draped or loosely knotted in front. I love having options. Thankfully, Nordstrom is a one-stop shop with so many gorgeous sweaters, scarves and leggings for every price point. Not to mention, amazing customer service. I just wish I had more cold weather days to don all the sweaters, because I could wear this every day. Shop the exact look below:

I partnered with Topshop, sharing some of my favorite pieces, including this versatile leopard coat and cozy stripe sweater. I’m thankful Los Angeles is giving me an excuse to bust out the layers with all this rain we got this weekend. Don’t forget a pop of white to bring out the oversize stripes. I’m often asked, how to style a plaid coat. Well, if you’re more like a black coat type of person, have no fear. A lot of basics and neutrals tone down the craziest of coats. First step is a suede skirt, neutral top (I like a touch of ruffle under $70!), and brown bootie. A combo I can wear to church, birthday parties and meetings. Falling for layers: Boyfriend Cardigan

Even though we moved to southern California, I refuse to give up all the knits and cardigans. Namely the oversize ultra-cozy layer known as the boyfriend cardigan. I prefer it in a marled oversize knit over just about anything. <Sigh,> I love Fall. Monday, I may throw it over a lacey cami, Wednesday over a striped tee, Friday, over a mock neck turtleneck. As much as the options are endless on top, they are also on bottom. For example, you can wear the cardi over jeans (I prefer skinny’s or THESE to balance the oversize cardigan), coated faux leather jeans, leggings, or sailor shorts. Despite Fall temps only lasting till 10am PST on a given day, I will relish every hour of it, with a cup of tea in hand.
