My go-to for quality athleisure and athletic wear is lululemon. I love this puffer coat that literally fits in a bag!! This green color is so on trend and flattering. 

I love a light weight coat to carry me from errands to soccer to date night. Versatility is key. I layered the align tank underneath with the align leggings. I linked my outfit below!

I used to have a thing with oversized coats. I wanted warmth, but I didn’t want to look like a marshmallow. The struggle is real. Enter the sleet street long jacket. 

We recently ventured out to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia. If you’re not familiar, it’s a beautiful range with hills of crimson and yellow leaves. Thankfully, I brought my sleet street long jacket to meet the chilly temps. I think everyone was jealous of my warm jacket that locks in warmth without sacrificing shape. Yes, it is possible to maintain shape while wearing 4 layers.

Probably the most exciting thing I’ve added to my wardrobe lately is this vest in beige. I LOVE the color and it just screams fall, which is my favorite season. lululemon has the cutest styles for activewear, athleisure, and let’s be honest school drop off. Loving my new lululemon jogger set. I usually try and find a set for comfort, fabric softness and STYLE, of course! Lululemon usually hits it out of the park with all of the above. My weekly grocery list

Buying groceries is incredibly stressful, so let me take out some of the fluff and share with you my essential groceries items.  This is for me and my family of 7.  This is not my entire weekly list but items I always want on hand in my kitchen.

1)      7 Celery Stalks.  One for each day of the week

2)     Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel Bread

3)     Avocados

4)     Cauliflower

5)     Butter Lettuce

6)     Almond Milk – Sweetened (max 7 grams sugar)

7)     LaCroix

8)     Lily’s Chocolate Bar (I like salted carmel)

9)     Smart Sweets Sour Gummy Bears

10)  Green Olives

I know, totally random…but totally the truth.  A survey of CEO’s revealed that these types of people eat the same thing for lunch every day.  At first, I thought about the monotony.  But then I realized, deciding what to eat is another decision that has to be made during the day. I have 5 kids, so I strive to keep things simple and keep the guess work out of life. Repeating what you eat every day saves you from making one more daily decision and therefore reduces a little stress.    

While my diet may seem boring, here it goes.  For breakfast I have a glass of celery juice and an almond milk latte.  For lunch, I’ve been making (or Kate has been making) avocado toast on cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread.  I take one avocado, smash it and add Chili Lime seasoning.  I then smear it on the cinnamon raisin toast.  For dinner and or pre-dinner snack I make a salad.  Levi enjoys my salads as well.  I use butter lettuce and sprinkle with sunflower seeds, parmesan cheese and green olives.  I drizzle my homemade balsamic dressing over the lettuce (link here).  Levi is practically made of my salads which is why he enjoys them with me.  For dinner, I eat whatever the family is eating and dessert is always a bite of Lily’s Chocolate Bars and or my favorite gummy bears.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’d know I loooove my celery juice. I get asked a lot why I drink it every morning and what are the benefits. It has an array of health benefits from gut to bones and full of vitamins K, silicone and calcium. It been even known to strengthen bones. I’m at the point where I crave it every morning if you can believe that!

RECIPE:

1 bunch of organic celery (wash and cut off the end)

2 cups water (give or take here, sometimes I add more)

Add both the celery stalks and water into a Vitamix and blend. drain in a strainer, add ice and drink immediately.

Tip: drink immediately or store in a mason jar in the refrigerator. It tastes better consumed right away. To save time in the morning, chop and wash the celery stalks the night before. What are the benefits of the pilates ring?

It helps strengthen the pelvic floor, back and stomach muscles. It helps to stabilize the spine and pelvic floor, while training coordination and balance. I used it here when I was pregnant with Levi.

How do you use it?

There’s so many ways that this ring was aptly named “the magic circle!” It can be used between your knees, legs, and arms.

How do you stay motivated?

New gear! I love my lululemon align leggings, tank and vest! It’s been 40’s here in SoCal in the mornings, so a vest is appropriate for running errands. And the lululemon logo is on the hood of the vest, super cute!

What can you fit in the 30L bag?

Everything! Mine has keys, wallet, snacks, water bottle, receipts, and change of clothing in it. It wipes clean and makes a great gift. I call it my mom slash gym bag.

Does the Align tank have support?

Yes! Light support and lots of comfort. I prefer the violet verbena color.

It’s so important to have quality pieces to workout in. You can sweat, run, and still look cute in these lululemon pieces. I get a lot of questions about this bag. Its the perfect gym slash mom bag. pair it with the running belt, flattering leggings and this tank on repeat.

We’ve been spending lots of mornings at the home garage gym. Here’s what I’ve been doing in addition to crunches:

Try doing the following four times: a wall sit, a wall sit with reach, a hollow body hold, and a Superman position for 30 seconds each, followed by 30 seconds of rest after all of them.

Try doing 15 air squats, 20 lateral bounds, and a bear crawl five times to one side, then five times to the other, repeating the series for seven minutes.

I feel happier and more fit with little spurts of working out. Now, its your turn, how do you stay active?
