4 Ways to Dress like the French

I lived in paris for 3 months, and besides the hit my credit card took in those three months (yikes), I actually learned about just how the french dress. Always so chic, so pulled together, so polished, and I’m always drooling over their accessory choices, Hermès scarf anyone? Basically, it’s all about which items to invest in. Read on:

1. don’t underestimate the power of red. My friend found this leather skirt second hand vintage. Looove. I also like red accessories like a red lip, red bag or red heels.

2. layer with a trench, I usually size down to get a more tailored look. I like this one and this one. Layer it over jeans and a tee for a laid back look.

3. no make up, no problem. When in doubt, sunnies are an easy way to polish a look.

4. don’t forget one luxury item: Hermès belt here or a luxury bag or shoes. I don’t mind pairing Levi’s, a cheap tee, and Chanel flats. Pas de problème.
