Coming from Chicago, I’ve always loved a versatile suede jacket and this one is no exception. I love it paired with a lace romper and pumps. (These flats from Nordstrom also work if you can’t walk in heels all day). Thankfully, if in between sizes, Nordstrom’s customer service is unparalleled, and returns are swift and easy. I just wish Southern California gave me more reasons to wear all my favorite jackets.

I just found the sweetest bow dress under $80. I paired it with an edgy leather jacket and buckle pumps. I plan to wear this ensemble to celebrate the hubs birthday this weekend, which will involve lots of dark chocolate desserts, Chinese food and homemade cards from the kids. All of his favorite things. Oh, and me in the bow dress, of course. I tend to keep my jewelry minimal (as you may have noticed). So when I’m looking for a watch, I tend to gravitate to simple style and classic colors. Well, the MOVADO Esperanza watch is just that. Although there’s little to no transition in seasons here in SoCal, we’ll be the family pretending with a trip to the pumpkin patch and pumpkin spice lattes. I’m told the latter really works in getting on that “fall mood” despite the 88 degree temps.
