Happy Almost Thanksgiving! And did you know its only 36 days till Christmas? Let’s face it: the hardest people on your list is your Dad, Grandpa, and/or husband/boyfriend. Am I right? Easter is Sunday, and you don’t have a lot of time to prepare, but you want something less than $100? Problem solved. Here, I wore a satin dress, suede trench and blush heels. I kept similar tones together and added a chic trench to add an overall polish. I like the idea of a dress I don’t spend a mini fortune on so I have more of a budget for shoes, a designer bag and not a mini heart attack over a coffee spill. Yes, I’m speaking from experience. What are you wearing for the holidays? An ugly sweater? Maybe more sequins? Well, seriously, what is more festive than a champagne wrap dress? Not much. Tis the season – for parties and sequin pants! I think we all know that moment when we stand in front of our closet trying to find that perfect outfit for the holiday party–pizzaz and wow, without Too Much or Overdoing it. It’s a hard balance, folks. And here is where the sequin pants make their blessed appearance. Since our holiday plans are at a minimum since we’re moving, I like the idea of a $50 dress. It’s not only soft, but boasts a flattering mock-neck turtleneck. Since it’s too cold to sport the sleeveless dress outside, I paired it with my favorite faux-fur collar coat and slouchy boots. Now, if only moving was this easy!
