Frye Boots fit is TTS // Jeans // One Shoulder Top // Fur Jacket // Similar Sunglasses

Check my latest Instagram post for a special giveaway with FRYE boots! I’m so happy to partner with them. In real life, I saved up my babysitting money while in high school and found them used so I could get a pair of used Chelsea tall FRYE boots. They were and still are my favorite quality leather chic boots.

They just may be the perfect gift to yourself. Which boots are your favorites?

Puffer Coat 55% off! (wearing a size small) // Turtleneck sweater (on sale. Wearing a size medium)// Fendi bag // Jeans (my jeans on sale!)// His coat // Our shoes (they’re unisex) // Similar sunglasses and here //

I first saw this bag in a Fendi store in Florence, Italy. I was looking for a bag similar to the Fendi Peekaboo bag that a fellow blogger, 9 to 5 Chic always wore. I wanted a bag to bring home from Italy that was versatile and went with EVERY outfit. Well, I’m happy to report that I found that bag!! The first thing I noticed was it had a removable strap. I love to have options. The associate showed me the three ways to wear this bag: as a cross body bag, as a tote, and finally as a clutch. If I was feeling adventurous, I could also remove the strap and attach it to another bag. How cool is that? While I was deciding on color (do I get black or camel?), shape, and discussing all the things with the attendant, Reid was wrangling a tired Levi. Shout out to Reid who gave me the credit card and walked out the store to rock Levi to sleep. I mean, what a champ!

Pro’s: the bag can be worn multiple ways that work with many outfits. The leather is luxe and buttery soft. The camel color is very versatile and can go with virtually any outfit!

Con’s: the price. It’s a luxury item, so the price is steep, but cost per wear is good.

Details on the bag:

Outer: Gold Plated Metal 100%, Calf Leather 100%, Polyester 100%. Lining: Polyamide 60%, Polyurethane 40%, Made in Italy.

UGG Wedge Bootie (fit TTS) // Similar Cropped jean // Similar Sweater // Faux leather puffer similar // Similar sunglasses

UGG was originally worn by surfers and founded by an Australian to relax and warm their feet after a long surf. It’s since become an icon for sheepskin, and enduring style. I remember buying UGG stock in college and saving up all my babysitting money to buy a pair. They were that good.

When I was browsing my local Nordstrom, I realized they had such an amazing selection of UGG boots, I honestly had a hard time choosing. From tall boots to short boots, ribbon ties and pull on styles, UGG has the perfect gift. Reid helped me narrow it down to these crop wedge boots that I’m wearing here.

I love the modern fit! The 2.5″ wedge heel is hidden for a fashion forward style. Who says fashion can’t be comfortable? With a 4″ shaft, I like them best worn with cropped kick flare jeans or a skirt. Who doesn’t love a pull-on boot that feels like a slipper? I styled them with cropped jeans and a cozy sweater because you can’t go wrong with camel and black. Both my girls have been begging for a pair of UGG’s for themselves. I bought them this pair that I know they’ll love. Which is your favorite?

Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring this post! All opinions my own.

Have you checked out lululemon lately? They have some of the most innovative designs, comfy fabrics and flattering leggings. I can’t think of one legging brand that has most dupes. Why? Because their styles are THAT good. I went through their new fall/winter line and picked these 5 pieces.

25″ Leggings (size 6) // On my Level Bag (water repellant and has interior pockets) // Vest (size 4) // Zip Hoodie // Sherpa beanie (sherpa fleece lining) // Bra

One // Two // Three / Four // Five

Six // Seven // Eight // Nine // Ten

Good workout clothes and accessories are key to staying motivated for that run or signing up for that pilates class. These pieces are sure to motivate you and have been a long time favorite of mine and I know it will be yours.

1. My head is an odd shape and this hat is STILL FLATTERING. Did I mention, it has an irresistible sherpa lining?

2. Also, I needed a good crop legging that still looks great while traveling. Hello airplane style! They also manage to “suck it all in” which is key for a mom of 5.

3. This hoodie is lightweight but incredibly warm and soft.

4. Top it off with a beautiful vest, that is as lightweight as it is warm.

5. Grab this slouchy bag that converts from a tote to a crossbody bag and will soon be your go-to bag.

I love that I can enjoy an evening run with these lululemon layers. For me, that’s my self-care. Give yourself the gift to yourself, one from lululemon this holiday season.

Thank you lululemon for sponsoring this post. All opinions my own.

Weekender bag (ON SALE!) // Scarf wrap // Pants // Turtleneck // OTK boots

1. THIS WRAP is so chic and only $14.90. No, I’m not joking!

2. This Weekender Bag is a sustainable vegan leather bag that fits everything, zips easily and I’ve brought it numerous times to Lake Arrowhead weekends.

3. The ever versatile Turtleneck! This piece is a must have that can be dressed up or down!

4. OTK boots. The best investment boots worn best with sweater dresses or over over the knee boots.

Girls, this week has been nuts! We’re selling our lake house, bidding on a home in LA, getting ready for Thanksgiving here, buying gifts, working on deadlines, oh, and I have a sick baby who ONLY WANTS ME. Somebody pour me a glass of red wine, stat!

So, back to this outfit, I’m wearing a $15 wrap (I bought online on a whim), black stretch pants, OTK boots, and this vegan weekender bag! The latter of which is on sale. Perfect for a little weekend getaway. Back to putting baby to bed, online shopping and trying to slow it down. Anyone relate?

Camel Coat (wearing a size 2) // Tissue Turtleneck // Cropped Pants and similar // Tan pumps

Every winter I search online for the best camel coats. I usually have decent luck and find a handful that I really like and share about on the blog. However, this year, I’m so excited because I finally found a really, really amazing camel coat! It’s by far my favorite one and I knew as soon as I tried it on I had to share it with you guys. A camel coat is something that once you find a great one, you invest in it and wear it for years. It’s one of those classic, staple pieces that never go out of style.

It is 69% wool, 25% nylon, 6% other fibers. It feels heavy and has a gorgeous fit. I’ve been looking for one with a great fit for what seems like years and this fit is perfection. The top looks like a blazer, which I think elevates it a bit and makes it look a little more sophisticated. I can’t recommend this coat enough!

As always, my shop page is open 24/7. Happy Wednesday!

I love a good pattern skirt that can be styled numerous ways and sure to get many compliments. This one I got off the Real Real for $40! I love the bang for the buck. Also, shopping resale is very sustainable. Why not sell what we don’t use and buy what others no longer want?

I also linked some favorites below like this cleansing balm that melts off the makeup and like in my case, the smog and pollution from LA fires and beyond. Please keep the families suffering from the fires in your prayers. I cannot imagine being displaced at this time.

We headed up to Lake Arrowhead last night for a long weekend and I cannot wait to share some more fall looks and put together some gift guides. Girls, get ready, November 1, is full on holiday mode!

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

My Top 5 Ways to Becoming More Sustainable

What does sustainable even mean? This is a question I found myself thinking about a lot recently, which is why I decided to look more into it and educate myself and my family. What I found out is sustainable actually means minimizing non-renewable energy consumption and using as many recycled products as possible. This is something I want to make sure we’re doing in our home and something I feel like we should be talking about more. So, this is how our family is being more sustainable. Hopefully these things can act as some ideas for your family too!

1. We eat local

Eating local means we are supporting small businesses and that we are using fewer fossil fuels for the food to get to us. It’s a small step, but when you think about how many times you eat out, it’s one of those little things that adds up.

2. Recyclable sandwich bags

When I started thinking about how many plastic bags a week we were going through for leftovers, lunches, snacks, etc. it kind of made me sick. Especially after learning that plastic takes hundreds of years to decompose. So, we started using reusable sandwich bags, which has cut down a lot of our waste on a weekly basis.

3. Buying used

When you love a good handbag or designer shoes as much as me, buying used can make a big difference. I’ve been buying used luxury items at places like eBay, Poshmark, and The Real Real for years!

4. Recycle

We recycle plastics and paper and I’m proud of seeing the kids follow suit on the recycling habit. It’s important to teach them to do this now so they can make the same smart choices as they get older.

5. Donate

Not only do I try to buy used when it comes to luxury items, but I want our old clothes and shoes to be reused as well. As a family, we donate via Crossroads and the Salvation Army. With 7 people, you can imagine that there are a lot of shoes and clothes that can go to well deserving new homes.
Now, it’s your turn! How are you practicing sustainability?

After all, I believe the mantra, FEWER, BETTER THINGS.
