Jane Pope Jewelry has generously offered to give away one of my most popular rings: this turquoise XL pronged ring that’s worth $1300. It’s not only stunning in person, it goes with everything. Everywhere I go, I get asked where are my turquoise rings from. This one is the closest I’ve come so far to my granny’s ring, that you all love so deeply. To give back, I’m giving away this JPJ ring. Giveaway ends 1/13 and winner announced 1/14.

To enter:

1. MUST follow SHALICENOEL and JANEPOPEJEWELRY on Instagram

2. Enter your email into the giveaway widget here on the blog.

3. Extra entry, tag a friend on my Instagram post, or tell us here what your favorite JPJ item is.

I’m not one for too much sparkle, so this top was just enough. I love it paired with all black classics and embellished boots. Any fun plans for NYE besides wine, Netflix and chill?

38 degree mornings in Los Angeles call for LAYERS. Someone stop me, I cannot get enough scarves and fuzzy sweaters. I love how a good OTK boot elevates this look from cozy to chic. For date night, I can easily swap out the blue jeans for a chic black leatherette pant and black sweater. Because nothing says date night like all black and the chicest of accessories. It’s all about choosing wisely and investing accordingly. By the way, it’s 72 hrs, before the $500 Nordstrom giveaway ends, have you entered?

Ramp up your basics with a camel coat (3/4 sleeve), and updated heels. I’m loving these slouchy jeans and cashmere sweater both from Vince. I tend to gravitate towards classic pieces, like a stripe top and flattering jeans, because I’ll probably wear them more than I’d like to admit, and they never go out of style. In other words, investment pieces. All of which I plan to wear for the upcoming date night over break. Can’t wait. In the meantime, read about our engagement story HERE. Merry Merry Christmas!

Olive coats are the best combo of military and tailored touch for any outfit of the day. I’m loving this slouchy version as well. Casual look with jeans? Check, Grey sequin dress? Check. Its easy and chic in one look. Still out of ideas? Try this with a denim skirt and boots (now 50% off!). See more olive picks in the below widget. Happy Wednesday!

Sometimes all you need is a pink trench vest to lighten things up. I’m loving this one draped over my almost all black ensemble, perfect with heels or sneakers. While we’re talking trench coats, read all about how I styled this classic trench. Stay tuned for a fun giveaway coming up.

Happy Tuesday!

Sometimes you need one coat in your closet to spice things up. Well, this is it. I’m loving this combo – lots of gray (preferably off the shoulder and cozy) and multi-colored faux fur. Even though I cannot wear this coat past 11 o’clock or so in LA, I make the most of it. This sweater is lightweight and perfect for layering. For Christmas, I just wanna get all my sisters sweaters because they are so good. I hope you are more ahead on the Christmas cards and gifts than I am. I also styled faux fur here and here, if you missed it. Happy weekend!

I’m a new convert to all things PINK, and let me tell you, there are no signs of me going back. Today, I’m not only sharing a pink and grey ensemble, but also 5 pink coats/jackets that make quite the splash. Like this one, that’s under $65. Ps. Is anyone else late on their Christmas shopping? I’m definitely the procrastinator, desperate for that 2-day shipping like it’s my last breath, kinda shopper. Can you relate?

Wish me luck x.
