Who doesn’t love the fact that leggings and running shoes are hotter than hot right now? It’s now totally chic to arrive on Rodeo Drive in gym attire (minus the sweat), which makes sense when you see all the high-fashion workout wear that is everywhere. Even Beyonce has gotten on this train. Seriously people, this is fashion + comfort in its truest form. Here, I put my own spin on it with faux leather leggings, a cozy knit, and my custom Nike iD’s. I’m working with Ann Taylor sharing two favorite looks. Sometimes I really love my job. And going to a fun store to find pieces to style is seriously fun. The other day I got to spend my afternoon at Pasadena’s Ann Taylor choosing pieces with the very lovely Sales Associate, Mariana. There was so much to choose from! From ruffly blouses and well-fitting faux leather leggings (yes! faux leather at Ann Taylor!) to plush coats with a tailored style, I had no trouble finding my eight pieces. Ultimately, it was the latter that sealed the deal. I mean, everybody knows I’m a sucker for faux leather. I’m having a major Tuesday Shoesday moment and I’m honored to share 7 DAYS, 7 LOOKS with Vince Camuto. I love how a boot or pump can take me from a creative meeting to date night with the hubby to school pick up. It was a fun challenge to pair 7 pairs of beautiful boots and pumps with easy (and wearable) pieces you may already have in your closet. That coveted laissez-faire look sometimes means a ruffle instead of a tee, a lace shawl over a tank, and lace-up leather boots for good measure. Thankfully, for you, I took the guessing out of what to wear, and linked all 7 outfits below. And then add in the following quality basics: denim, crisp white blouses, a statement bag and designer shoes. Even though I’m the last person to live by less is more (just look at my mess of a shoe closet), less really is more. And I hope to pass down the AGL shoes, the Chloé satchel and MCM bag to my daughters who have already put dibs on them.
