Look 1: Crop Structured Top and Cropped Trousers

So, for the first look, you’ve got that amazing crop structured top paired with cropped trousers. The fabric seems to have a great weight to it, giving the outfit a nice, tailored feel. This combo is super chic and sophisticated. I can see this being perfect for a variety of occasions—maybe a nice brunch or even a casual work setting. Depending on how you accessorize, it can easily go from day to night. I bet it looks fabulous with both heels and flats.

Look 2: Crop Structured Top with Satin Maxi Skirt and Sneakers

Now, for the second look, you kept the same crop top but swapped the trousers for a satin maxi skirt. The satin adds such a lovely touch of elegance, and pairing it with comfy sneakers? Genius! This outfit feels very trendy and modern. It’s like you’re ready for anything—from a casual day out to an evening event. The mix of the dressy skirt with casual sneakers gives off a cool, effortless vibe. Plus, it must be super comfortable to wear!

Which Look is My Favorite?

If I had to pick a favorite, I think I’m leaning towards Look 2. There’s something about the combination of the satin skirt and sneakers that’s just so fresh and stylish. It’s elegant without being too formal, and the sneakers keep it grounded and practical. This look feels like it has a bit more personality and could really make you stand out.

That said, both outfits are my favorite, and the best part is how they can suit different moods and occasions. Look 1 is perfect when you want to be polished and put-together, while Look 2 is great for when you want to mix things up and have some fun with your style.

So, which one do you feel best in? Are you more into the chic, tailored vibe of Look 1 or the elegant yet laid-back feel of Look 2?

Can you believe it is almost the weekend?

Father’s Day is just around the corner. Are you prepared for it? Finding the perfect gift for men can often be a challenge. This year, I’m giving Reid a house for Father’s Day, and I think he’s really excited about it. What are you planning to get for the special man in your life?

Me and the bows are on Janie and Jack’s blog!! How cool right? Read it here

I checked out the blog post about Brooks and Levi modeling the new Janie and Jack Gray Malin collection in the Lacy Park rose garden. The collection definitely exudes resort vibes, with vibrant and playful pieces perfect for a summer getaway.

The collection includes various stylish items such as shirts, linen blend shorts, and swim trunks for boys, alongside dresses and rompers for girls. The combination of Malin’s iconic photography style with Janie and Jack’s classic designs creates a unique and charming line.

One of my favorite pieces from the collection is the Gray Malin Recycled Travel Toile Swim Trunk. It’s not only stylish with its fun and colorful print but also environmentally friendly. Another standout is the striped shorts, which are versatile and perfect for a casual yet polished look.

Memorial Day is upon us already—how did it come so fast? It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating May Day, and it seems like only a moment ago we were rejoicing over the last day of school. Time is flying by so quickly! Does anyone else feel this way? It’s as if the days are speeding up, and we’re barely catching our breath before the next occasion is here. As we prepare to honor and remember those who served, let’s also take a moment to savor these fleeting days and create lasting memories. Click the links below of what I’d wear for Memorial Day!

1. dress 2. earrings 3. flag hat 4. cardigan 5. sneakers 6. sandals 7. classic button down 8. denim romper 9. shorts

Navigating the exhilarating journey of parenthood, Reid and you delved into a captivating discussion, unveiling the nuanced dynamics of raising children at different stages of their development. While reminiscing about the whirlwind days of toddlerhood, with its flurry of diaper changes and playground escapades, we both found ourselves nodding in agreement on one profound realization: parenting teens is a whole new adventure demanding a different set of skills.

As you shared anecdotes and insights, a vivid picture emerged of the unique challenges posed by adolescent years. It’s not just about physical exertion anymore; it’s a mental marathon requiring sharp wit and unwavering patience. From engaging in spirited debates about the relevance of physics in everyday life to gently steering them away from the allure of endless YouTube videos, every interaction becomes an opportunity to ignite their curiosity and shape their understanding of the world.

But amidst the intellectual sparring and negotiations, there’s a poignant beauty in witnessing the evolution of your relationship with your teen. It’s a journey marked by mutual growth, where you’re not just a parent but also a mentor, guiding them through the labyrinth of life’s complexities. And as you gently remind them why borrowing mom and dad’s phone charger without asking is a big no-no, you’re not just imparting rules but instilling values that will shape their character for years to come.

What do you think, do you agree? Do you have teens or toddlers and can relate?

Lmk!

I rocked those uber comfy silver Galito and Tan Sugarbird shoes on my day date with Atalie this past weekend, and it was a blast! We hit up Urth cafe for drinks and dessert with my oldest, and let me tell you, it couldn’t have been a prettier day.

Sure, here’s a revised version:

We’re settling back into our routine now that we’re back home. Our friends mentioned that it was rainy while we were away, so it feels like we haven’t missed much! Arriving home to sunshine was a delightful welcome, and we couldn’t be happier. I tried on this dress and instantly fell in love! It’s incredibly soft, has pockets, and is so flattering. What do you think?

One Reid and I love doing is going to all the yummy and beautiful coffee shops in around Los Angeles, but namely Pasadena.

We just got back from our longest road trip yet – from CA to FL and back! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t exhausted. Still adjusting to the right time zone and in desperate need of some extra rest, pronto! But hey, spring fashion is calling, and who can resist the allure of double denim, am I right? I’m fully embracing this trend! It’s always a challenge to find cropped jeans with just the perfect touch of flare, but these ones nailed it – just remember to size up! And let’s talk about this flared denim vest with its intricate hand-stitched details and those fabulous flared sleeves – it’s a denim lover’s dream! I went up a size for the jeans and opted for a size 6 in the top. Pumps fit true to size, and I snagged a 9. Wishing you all a fantastic week ahead! Shalice

1- I want a cool umbrella for mother’s day! We have the perfect place for it, but no lounge chairs or umbrella. Reid, are you reading this?

2-Blue light glasses never looked so chic.

3- Have you smelled this non toxic candle? It is amazing.

4 – I got this a month ago and haven’t taken it off. I store my credit cards in the little zipper, and lip gloss and cash in the larger pouch. The size is perfect and the chain makes it look like jewelry around my chest.

5 – Modal V neck tee in tan is so chic with wide leg jeans, made in LA.

6 – Such a great book for leading others and gaining business advice.

7 – Dry brushing helps with the appearance of cellulite.

8 – Love these and reviews say they more comfy than they look.

9 – Washable silk pjs, need I say more? They are especially great if you get really hot when you sleep like I do.

10 – If you want that “blowout” look without the price, this is the tool.
