I couldn’t help but pair up these babies
When we first got married, we decided to give each other art on our anniversary. Be it a small oil on canvas, a charcoal sketch or a thrifted map, if it was inspiring, it was worth giving. While we didn’t quite manage to fully hold to that, we have still accumulated a couple of pieces that we treasure … such as this lovely tiger. As we all know, shopping for art takes time and attention, and does not work well with a multi-child accompaniment. Finding Artfully Walls was huge! It makes finding beautiful art much easier since it is a one stop shop for unique, one-of-a-kind pieces to step up your gallery wall or foyer stairs like ours. I really liked their design your wall feature. Interestingly enough, two of my favorite pieces are actually pieces that the hubby chose. I’m often hesitant when I let him choose (don’t we all like our choices best?), but then he makes me wonder why I ever hesitated in the first place. Sometimes it just takes another eye to make a successful pairing of the graphically complex with the stark and simple. And it’s always a bonus if it happens to involve cobalt somewhere.

I love this idea of giving heart! And my seven-year-old still spends part of the summer and has Halloween costumes too 🙂
