Years ago, I borrowed my mom’s gorgeous traditional Portuguese embroidered vest from her closet. It was chic, bohemian, and super cool for its old time traditional flavor. Recently, I spotted this lacy embroidered crop top and it reminded me of that very vest from long ago. In fact, I totally feel like I’m channeling her seasoned taste and European heritage when I wear this piece. And what better time to wear it than festival season? Who’s going to Coachella? I’m not sure what spells music and desert air more than lace, cold shoulder and cropped. Don’t forget to stock up on extra long white jeans (because I almost always stain them), and round sunnies. It is stunning Shalice, and I love that it reminds you of your mum. That’s the special part–when the clothing takes us back to fond memories. I’m all about the style story, sometimes more than the actual style. You can see you and your mum are close too which is quite neat; and now it’s happening with your own two little cuties. 😀
Here’s to your time at Coachella. I can only be a wanna be posting proposed outfits. In fact, I went and shot some photos today–in red! OH!! And those Forever 21 lace up sandals that I saw on your feed maybe a year ago, and had to have. They’re the black ones with blush (yes that color again!) flowers. I’ll tag you when they hit IG.
