As a stylist, I’m often asked what items are worth dropping some serious cash on. Without hesitation, a leather jacket is always at the top of my list, whether your taste is more real leather, faux suede or faux leather under $100. Here are my top five, with pretty much something for everyone. And if you need that extra push, the logic behind the madness, if you will, please consider the cost-per-wear (CPW) angle. Take, for example, a pale pink ACNE STUDIOS leather jacket. If you wear it 150 days out of the year, it costs $13.33 per wear. Now, I’m far from a math major, but that’s clear enough to convince me to go for it. So, keeping the CPW in mind, you’re actually saving money rocking your moto jacket countless ways, whether it be with a pencil skirt OR sushi-date-ready lace dress. Now, that’s a brilliant idea.
