New kid on the block, Lou & Grey, may be new, but nothing short of classic. What LA Times calls a “tomboyish fusion of activewear and streetwear,” really just translates as comfy clothes. I like comfy clothes but I don’t like them to look too cozy, i.e. flannel pajamas. Make sense? So, I tried it out for myself. During a stop at the Southport Lou & Grey store with my oldest, I found this bleached chambray while she was ooh-ing and aww-ing over their succulent collection and anything small she could lay her hands on. I’ll be back to see more of their cool, clean collection of “lifewear,” and maybe another pair of track pants for spring. That is, if sandal weather decides to stick around. Until then, I’m keeping cozy in their softest chambray that feels like a hug but looks mysteriously pulled together. Momstyle in a nutshell.
