The most common question I get is, “How do I build my wardrobe?” Well, it all starts with a few great basics that can be worn over and over again, morphing from casual to dressy and then back again. The five pieces worn throughout the post are great examples of pieces that can do just that: chambray dress, lace skirt, bateau sweater in red and creme, and stripe skirt. On a recent date with my eldest, we stopped at the LOFT store, before the candy store, of course. They had some really great spring pieces, from lace and cut out to chambray and stripes. They also had a really great knit bateau sweater in white and red, of which I got both, of course. I can’t resist pieces that can transition from meetings to cocktails or in my case, jeans to date night. The bateau is perfect for that, and a great basic. As far as cute and chic goes, LOFT was a pleasant surprise and I’ll definitely be back. In the meantime, I’m crushing on this lace hem and comfy creme sweater. A perfect combination to transition to spring temps. Off to Olivia’s Market for tootsie rolls and lollipops to pay for all that quiet time in the changing room. But so worth it.

Thank you LOFT for sponsoring this post!
