I like to keep my uniform as uncomplicated as possible. Jeans, long blouse, leather jacket and flats, or a heel if I’m feeling indulgent. The latter helps me think clearer but is not so great for chasing toddlers. But when you can pair heels + comfort? A definite bonus. On this particular trip, we were getting snacks for our picnic on Saturday, which meant lots of impulse buys and little hands throwing random groceries in the cart. Dried apricots? Got ’em. Fig Newtons? Yup, those too. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already noticed how I wear my Rockport nude heels on major repeat. So, I was happy to see more nude heels in their spring line for every day glam on the run. I tell clients all the time that the way to look their best and change things up is to invest in good basics. Among those basics are comfy nude and black heels that can be worn in countless color combos and still look amazing. An added bonus? When the kids are begging for gum and orange Tic Tac’s in the check out lane at 120 decibels, I honestly feel a little less threatened when I’m wearing my favorite heels. Just sayin.
