They’re so named “Bermuda shorts” because of their popularity in Bermuda where they are considered appropriate business attire when made of suit like material and worn with knee-length socks and dress shirt, tie, and blazer. While I will not pair mine with knee-length socks, I love them styled with summer staples like tanks! They had a huge presence at Bottega Veneta to Givenchy, putting a new take on the classic suit. If you are in search of a dress for Friday’s date night and your friend’s wedding, this dress fits the bill. I’m loving that this dress is not only under $60, but looks great with a headscarf and lace-up sandals. Honestly, few things make my heart skip like this stripe and camel duo. We’re currently encountering a major heat wave so optional layering is a must! I own a million soft tanks, from white to black, soft to light weight and you should too. I like to pair the indispensable tank with striped shorts or cutoffs, a camel coat or rain jacket. If you’re looking for multiple options, this combo also works with flip flops for a BBQ on the beach or a low heel for dinner with friends.
