I have such a soft spot for tweed and all things red. I mean, pardon the fact that I’m wearing a red baker boy hat on repeat on Instagram. However, tis the season right? This red coat and gold buttons is a total beauty. I love it dressed up and down and a total statement! My in-laws will be here over Christmas and I can’t wait to bust this out with black jeans, a sweater and sneakers.

I just love this tweed off the center skirt too. I had to adjust the belt since I bought it too big, my bad, but I still love it! What are you wearing for the holidays?

Farmer’s Market Outfit

Me and my friend Tasha went to the flower market and must have been an orange mood because we picked out all the orange flowers with the exception of eucalyptus. It was an invigorating morning seeing all the beautiful bunches of flowers and closely followed by double shot lattes. A must. If you’re familiar with my instagram and stories, you will notice I have been wearing these jeans on repeat. They’re so fun to wear and really flattering. Top 5 Products You Need in Your Toiletry Bag

To those who know me, know I’m very minimal when it comes to beauty and skincare. However, using great products is no exception. This is not sponsored, just an informative post for those who asked what I use on my face and skin. All of which are stashed in my lovely Maxwell Scott toiletry bag (Reid secretly wants one too). I have some product that didn’t make it into the picture, but linked below.

What’s in my Maxwell Scott Toiletry Bag?

R+Co shine + texture spray (who doesn’t need radiance, shine and sea kale to wake up tired hair?) :: L’Occitane Divine Youth Oil (don’t you love the name? It smells amazing and I’m crediting my glow to this baby) :: L’Occitane shea butter hand lotion (quenches thirsty skin and the result is baby skin soft):: Le Labo parfum musty and clean :: Elizabeth Dehn Vitamin C Brightening Facial Serum  vitamin C to combat stress and leave skin glowing and even-toned.

Not pictured but honorable mention: Milo skin body brush for better circulation, NuFace facial toning device (like an at home facial) :: MUSQ face and body exfoliant (gets rid of old skin, hello new skin!) I linked a similar below :: SUNDAL RILEY TIDAL brightening enzyme water cream (no scent and refreshing). And I’m using this mask tonight 😉

While Reid and I both complain how long my cleansing routine takes at night, I see a difference. Sounds cheesy, but when I feel great, I’m a better wife and mother. I used to think I was a 4 product no-nonsense girl until I left some of the above products at home during our road trip this summer. I was scrambling for another exfoliant and moisturizer.  Hats are great to make any outfit more casual. I’m loving baseball hats on bad hair days, like today, or just to make an outfit less formal. A real quick way to make an outfit look put together and chic is a baseball cap and topcoat. Underneath I have a simple turtleneck and jeans. When I’m out running around with my boys while the girls are at school, we usually have lots of errands to run and all I need are easy separates and a chic coat. See more casual chic HERE. The Bigger the Bells

I plan to wear this top with these jeans to hang out with my cousin and the fam this weekend. And layer it with a trench, because it’s officially layering season. Hallelujah! Within walking distance of the Alfred Tea Room on Melrose, we found this beautiful house which became the location for this shoot. While we were standing out front, the owner came out and invited us to his garden and coach house, both of which looked straight out of a magazine or an exotic location in Costa Rica.

Have you ever hiked up the Hollywood Hills? It’s so peaceful above LA – just fields, walk ways, and silence. You would never know that the concrete jungle is just below. Here I’m wearing a new favorite graphic blazer, slouchy tee, cropped jeans and can’t-stop-wearing lace up heeled sandals. Don’t judge. Get your own and you’ll do the same. Also, plan a date to jog or picnic on these Hollywood Hills and you’ll thank me later.
