On a cloudy day in Highland Park, we snapped some shots of three different looks. I rocked those Dr. Scholl’s original sandals in three different colors, paired with three different outfits. I was just itching for a reason to strut around in my ultra-flared flares from FRAME. What do you think? Loads of DMs and comments said they were digging the red sandals with the black jeans and leather jacket the most. I also mixed it up by pairing the white sandals with an extra-long trench and a vintage red suede skirt. Pretty cool, huh? I’m all about blending new pieces with old classics. It’s awesome how throwing in a vintage item can give your outfit that timeless vibe, don’t you think? And for the black sandals, I went all out with an all-white ensemble, channeling my inner Jane Shrimpton. Honestly, I’m stoked the rain held off long enough for us to snap all the shots. So, which look do you vibe with the most?

Happy Friday! Reid and the boys have a tee time and we’re going on a double date with another couple. I’m looking forward to it. Cue the date night outfit!

I’ve been a big supporter of the brand BARED from Australia. Have you heard of them?

Their brand is known for amazing arch support and shoes so pretty and comfortable that you can travel in them. The soles have a memory foam like construction and super supportive. Here I styled 3 of the pairs both casually and slightly more dressed up.

Which is your favorite look?

I love a good flat that will take me from park dates to date night. This blue one was IT. I was skeptical at first, but LOVE it.I got my true size and paired them with the Daphne jeans (sz 26, all cotton), and shirt by Sundays. Hope everyone has a lovely Mother’s Day! xx Shalice

Anthropologie Scarf Wrap// Anthropologie jeans // Mindo boot by Kork-Ease

Ever since I can remember I’ve always had an interest in fashion and trying new outfits and looks. I love taking the same item and styling it differently with other accessories and bringing an entirely new outfit to life. My passion for this is really how my blog got started and has led me to where I’m at today. I’m so thankful I get to share the items and trends I’m loving along with mom and family life happenings as well.
I’m honestly in a place I never thought I’d be! An amazing husband and 5 kids (still getting used to this number!) and a lakehouse that is seriously a dream come true. And with fall officially underway and us still spending time at Lake Arrowhead, I’m kind of letting it inspire my style right now. One item I’ve been turning to over and over again recently are these Kork-Ease boots.
Have you ever had a Kork-Ease pair of shoes before? They’re made of absolutely incredible leather that is such high quality. These boots are sturdy, well made and very stylish so I’d say they check all the boxes. They go perfectly with cozy leggings or distressed skinnies and the heel height is perfect for anyone! Safe to say I’ll wearing these a lot this season.
What’s inspiring your style right now?
Thank you Kork-Ease for sponsoring this post!
