Bleeker Street Poncho (Atalie is wearing size petite, Shalice is wearing size regular)

Jeans // Boots (size up)

Sizing: generally if you’re 5’7″ and taller, we recommend getting the poncho, if you’re shorter than that, we recommend the petite size.

It was a dream of mine to make a matching set that me and my daughters could dress in. The poncho is flowy, heavy, warm and the perfect season-less layer. It is travel and nursing friendly and can be worn multiple ways. Did you know mother’s day is 13 days away? It’s a perfect gift to give and get!

How would you wear yours?

Dear Friends, family and new friends!

Thank you for being faithful readers of my blog! I appreciate you all and love hearing from you, whether by e-mails, direct messages, comments or even text. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you. As you have gotten to know me, you may notice we always have some life-changing event going on. My in-laws joke that they can’t keep up with us! Reid and I are entrepreneurs at heart and with that comes a little fly-by-night hustle. Thus, we move a lot, relocate to different cities, have babies, dream up new ideas and have a thirst for creating and recreating. I’m thankful that by many years of hard work at Shalicenoel.com, that we can turn my personal style into a clothing line. It’s beyond my wildest dreams and it is so special to me that so many of you have been alongside me throughout this journey. I am grateful for you!
As many of you know, one of the key concepts behind Shalice Noel is effortless chic. We all want to look our best, but we also don’t want to spend the entire morning making it happen. When life gets busy, style shouldn’t have to be sacrificed. These are the ideas that were behind the creation of my line. The collection is from my heart with versatile pieces that are flattering yet effortless. Whatever your daily grind, Shalice Noel pieces will empower your day!
To make things easier, I have started an Instagram account just for my collection. It’s @shopshalicenoel – give it a follow!  The pieces I’ve curated will be styled multiple ways and I’ll be sharing more about the inspiration behind my collection on IG. Please follow to stay updated! I’ll announce as pieces drop on @shopshalicenoel, but you can also make sure to check my blog and www.shopshalicenoel.com.
Keep the following things in mind as you shop: 1. Inventory is limited, so if there is something you like, check out.

1. I use dead stock (so fabric doesn’t get thrown into the landfill) so fabric is limited, therefore inventory is limited.

2. Sizes go from XXS to XL in the peasant top, V-neck tee, and XS to XL in the Tank.

3. Register for my newsletter and forward to your friends to sign up!

As usual, send along any questions (DM or email me) and I’ll try and get back to you. I couldn’t have done this without you guys!

Sweater Dress (regular small) // Boots $50 (fit tts)

Poncho // Spanx // Similar Cashmere Joggers // Sneakers // Boots $50 // Sweatshirt // YSL bag

Happy Fall!! This is by far my favorite season to dress for.
I met Angela Lanter in LA a couple years ago! She has since moved to TN, but we still have a lot in common, we are moms who like affordable and accessible fashion. Today, we styled this $28 poncho and $50 boots that look like Isabel Marant. Even though were on opposite sides of the US, we are joining forces to style these boots and poncho two ways.
See her blog here for more!
This poncho has arm hoes and is a whopping $28! No, that is not a typo. What do you think, which look is your favorite?
Thank you Angela for partnering today, see both our looks on instagram today!

knit poncho // similar black tank underneath // jeans // heels and similar

leopard skirt (under $20!) / similar tank / heels

In the words of one of my readers, “Walmart has stepped it up!”

So many good picks for fall on their site. I’ll admit the site can be overwhelming, so I’ll narrowed down some fall looks for you from knits to denim. Here I styled this turtleneck poncho with black jeans and a tank underneath. I love a good turtleck sweater poncho! Perfect for weekends at Lake Arrowhead. I styled the leopard skirt with a black tank and simple sandals. I can’t believe this skirt is under $20!

I’m loving the “Next Day Delivery” option from Walmart with qualifying orders as well as easy returns. I’ve done both! If I’ve been between sizes, I buy both and return one. All you have to do is print out a return label on their website. Also, I make sure almost every purchase qualifies for Next Day Delivery.

Many of you have already made these $13 sandals sell out more than once!

Whether I’m shopping for fall layers, a sweater, a tank to go underneath, or a pair of sandals, Walmart has surprised me with their convenience, free shipping and wide array of premium brands. Have you checked it out? I even found some things the kids have loved but more on that later!

Thank you Walmart for sponsoring this post!

scarf wrap // similar and a camel version// jeans only $40! // stripe heels // black tank (worn underneath) // turquoise earrings // gold bracelet // saddle bag // sunglasses // bella band (converts normal jeans to maternity jeans!)

For tanning my body: Tan Towels For tanning my face: tan face drops (I got medium/dark)

I love a wrap that doubles as a nursing cover! Yes, I’m thinking ahead! This one is flattering and an awesome fit. At press time, it was temporarily sold out. I gave additional options. Check them out and my $40 denim!

The temps are all over the place in LA, but when things were cooler last week, I had the pleasure of pulling out some fall favorites. Including this Frye poncho and Frye booties. Both have a Western vibe, which I think we’ll be seeing a lot of this fall. I like how this style looks slightly different than something like a cardigan and round-toe booties. It feels fresh for fall, you know? Frye is always great at keeping things classic with a twist, and I’m happy to add more of their staples to my closet.

I kept Western flowing with a belt and hat, but added some black jeans and fun fish net socks for a touch of whimsy. All Western wouldn’t have been me – I had to add some edge.

And if you aren’t familiar with the setting of these photos, let me introduce you to LACMA – one of my favorite Los Angeles locations for shooting or hanging out. There are 202 lampstands in this “Urban Light” art fixture, and the kids and I love it. It’s these unique landmarks that make LA feel so cool, and we come here often. If you’re ever in town, I recommend stopping by or shooting here. It makes for great photos.

skirt SEAFARER similar :: poncho :: boots FRYE :: twist neck top Chelsea and Walker

To be honest, when it comes to ponchos, I haven’t always been a fan. They’re either oversized, the wrong print, or miss-styled. However, there are a few worth sharing here. I’m loving this camel print from FRYE, the color block of this TULEROSA poncho and yes I found this one  under $30. And I’m secretly hoping this cooler LA winter sticks around so I can sport this $50 cape too. Our morning started with puff pancakes (see the recipe here), a little Boxing day shopping, then packing for our trip to the mountains. Hope your Monday is wonderful!
