If you’ve ever walked into a Nordstrom shoe department, you already know what I’m talking about. Once you walk into the department, you are greeted right away. I love that about Nordstrom. Their customer service is always five star!

If I choose to purchase online, I usually get a couple sizes and style, try on what works and return what doesn’t. Yay for free returns! For these particular wedges, I tried them on in store. A friendly store associate told me to try the 8.5 versus my usual size 9 since they do stretch and I had some room. I’ve already worn these espadrilles on two occasions and almost half a day on my feet and no blisters or sores to report. Now, that is saying a lot considering I’m holding a baby 75% of the time! Besides comfort, the price point is below $80, and a perfect spring shoe. The only con would be, I wish the shoe came in more colors and different heights. I chose the gray since the color was really flattering with my skin tone and versatile to be worn with spring whites and classic blacks. What’s cool is that, at 4 1/4″ height and 1″ platform, you don’t feel the height and it is incredibly flattering. Especially worn with dresses or jeans.

If you were hesitant, get this! When you buy Treasure & Bond, Nordstrom will donate 2.5% of net sales to organizations that work to empower youth. How cool is that? I love when a company gives back. Also, this sandal has 625 reviews, most of which say these are incredibly COMFORTABLE and they wished they purchased these earlier. I know because I read most of those comments. Convincing me to order the tan ones as well. What do you think?

I’ve always been a fan of Nordstrom. From their amazing customer service, awesome selection of top hot brands, rad sales and even a nursing room at their very welcoming stores. I ask myself what is not to love? But I ask, have YOU ever experienced their services? Recently, I used one of their many services I had never tried. I had my pants altered – FREE for cardholders. I wanted a white crop pant to be a little more cropped so I could show off my ankle straps. Done in as little as 10 min and they ask you when you need them. Can you say EASY?

Also, as a mom, the curbside pick up is LIFE. Especially when you have 4 little shoppers and 4 opinions in the backseat. This is how curbside works: a lovely Nordstrom employee brings my bags to the car once I drive up to the entrance and dial the 800 #. All I do is pop my trunk and wave, “thank you.” Easy as pie. And even better, zero sugar drama and kids begging for balloons, new shoes and the dreaded question, “can we get a new Lego?”

THANK YOU NORDSTROM!

Honestly, Nordstrom has everything and makes it so easy to shop no matter what your price point is. So, the next time you need something for yourself, your child, a gift for a friend or something for your husband (Father’s Day will be here before we know it!), head to Nordstrom – you’ll wonder why you never shopped there before!

If you have a round face, rectangle, square lenses work the best. If you have a square shape face, aviators, butterflies or round sunnies are most flattering. As for oval, any shape works!

Spring is on the way, I can feel it! That might sound silly coming from someone who lives in Southern California, but I think spring is so much more than just the temperature. There’s a freshness in the air and all the new fashion trends start to show up! On a recent trip to Nordstrom, I definitely saw lots of fun new things for the season including this amazing black slip dress.
This dress is my perfect outfit in so many ways. First, it’s comfortable, which means I can chase all five kids around in it. Second, it can be dressed up or down. You can wear with sneakers or a strappy heel or sandal. Best of both worlds if you ask me.
And when it comes to shopping at Nordstrom, you all know it’s pretty much my favorite place no matter what I’m looking for. I can find stuff for the kids, me and Reid. Win-win! Plus their convenient order online and pick up in-store method is perfect for busy moms. Make sure to head in to check out all their amazing offerings for spring soon!
What are you shopping for this spring?

All opinions my own. Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!

  1. teddy coat (with removable hood) // 2. tee // 3. sports bra (under $40) // 4. leggings (30% off) // 5. adidas sneakers

Whether you prefer running, walking, pilates or yoga, Nordstrom has you covered. I recently found these awesome moto leggings 30% off, sports bra, and $15 tee (I knotted at the waist) online at Nordstrom.com. I’m in a very busy season of life so online shopping is my GOTO like any busy mom right? I read this teddy coat has a removable hood, so I thought it would be great for Lake Arrowhead as well as running errands with the kiddos post workout. As for these leggings, I plan to style them with an oversize sweater, tank and booties for a less I-just-left-the-gym look. Athleisure, anyone?

The Nordstrom half yearly sale is here! I’m not sure what I’m excited more about – this Tahari coat or New Years in Palm Springs. Either way, I wanted to give my readers a heads up on some of the top items from the sale. Although we are enjoying 2 weeks in the Midwest, but I’m still online shopping and preparing for upcoming events I’m excited to share.  Hope you had a lovely Christmas with your friends and family.

Tops – as low as under $20, and great sweaters

Coats – I’ve my eye on the Tahari coat

Shoes -so many great tall boots, booties and sneakers on sale.

Kids – This is a great time to stock up on kids shoes. My kids are always growing out of their shoes, so I like to buy on discount.

Men’s

Boxy Pullover // Silk Midi Skirt // Sparkly Sandals // Tan Towels

I’m not crazy about ugly sweaters, or overly glittery tops or bodycon dresses. The latter especially doesn’t work while nursing. So, when I saw this combination at my local Nordstrom, I jumped on it. I love the combination of a knit sweater (with slight metallic thread) and a satin skirt in the same green color scheme. ‘Tis the season right? I’ll admit it’s a color I don’t wear often but love it in this shade! Speaking of shades, since most of the world does not have sun tanning weather like SoCal, I’ve got you covered. I live by these tan towels when I need a quick “real” looking tan for a night out or special event. Hey, even hubby uses them but don’t tell him I told you. Now, back to traveling to Chicago to see the family, show off Levi and my fake tan. What’s your favorite holiday look?

Happy Monday!

Reid’s work party is next weekend, so I’ve been on the hunt for simple (nursing friendly) outfit. Well, I found it!

I don’t have a lot of time to overthink holiday outfits, so I like to keep it simple but extra. Enter the leopard blazer. ROAR!

I was drawn to these pants because of the bow and flattering fit.

My eye caught these beautiful blazer because

A it’s hard to find a leopard blazer under $500 and

B it is on sale- now 50% off!  Can you say score?

  1. Bugaboo Fox Stroller // 2.  Combat Boots // 3. Tank ($12!) // 4.  Jeans  5. Wool Fedora in Tan // 6. Teddy Coat

Levi is only a week here so you can bet I am gravitating towards classic pieces that are still flattering in this postpartum phrase. I love that Nordstrom carries some awesome basics like this $12 black tank I have in white as well.  Style tip, when you find something good, you buy in bulk! Speaking of good, this hat is great for bad hair days, chic combat boots, and we can’t forget flattering jeans all shown here. All of which I find at Nordstrom at competitive prices (they price match!) mom-friendly perks (hello curbside pick-up) and Nordy Club, so I can still earn points for every purchase. And these are just some of the advantages of shopping at Nordstrom. Have you used those perks at Nordstrom? What are you buying this month at Nordstrom?

Gray boots are the first and favorite things to bust out at the first day of fall. They’re flattering and crazy versatile. I try and buy a new pair at the beginning of the season so I ensure I get my size 9!

Those following me for a while know I love a versatile gray dress and this one is NO EXCEPTION. I wear it dressed up or down and the tulip hem is crazy flattering! See some more of my faves:

Leopard Scarves are some of the best subtle ways to get a lot of pop for the price. Many of them are under $30, and I love them styled tied onto a purse.

I love how a gray bag is the cherry on top of a chic gray monochrome look.

I get so many compliments when I wear a gray coat – here are 4 faves:

Nordstrom never disappoints. From their stellar customer service, awesome online selection, and quick shipment options (hello curbside pick-up), it’s hard not to pick favorites. Since I’m due to welcome baby boy any day now, I opted for a fitted and flattering dress I’ve had on repeat. I added a leopard scarf, gray layer coat, and gray bag for an overall classic monochrome look. Stay tuned for baby news and more favorites from Nordstrom.

Do you ever put together matching outfits for you and your kids? I love doing this with my girls! They probably won’t let me do it forever so I have to enjoy it while I can, right? Ha! Nordstrom is where I go to find matching booties for the three of us. It’s so convenient—have I mentioned the curbside pickup for online orders? I’m just so obsessed with it.
I like to think my girls (and the boys too) are pretty fashion forward but are also just like any kids and like to run around outside and be tough on their clothes. Anything I pick up at Nordstrom Kids always lasts and keeps them looking stylish too. And yes, I let her borrow my Gucci bag. I can’t shame her for her good taste. 😉
