Once a week we go on a day date which involves running errands to places like Home Depot and then rewarding ourselves with our new obsession: iced green boba tea. It’s sort of my new favorite date despite the extra long time spent staring at 2×4’s at Home Depot. Occasionally, I switch up this cute lace off the shoulder dress by wearing it as a tunic. I found it at Nordstrom Rack, which you gotta love as a go-to destination for affordable basics. They have a great selection and carry some of my favorite brands like rag + bone. You just have to shop fast because things sell out fast. And if you’ve followed me for a while, you know my favorite combination is rips, lace and nude sandals. Thankfully, I can always find at least one of those at the Rack. After all, you look best in what you FEEL like wearing.

I love the Rack! We have this unusual habit when on the last day of our summer, with one day before leaving back to our life overseas, my husband will decide it’s time for him to go shopping. It is always on this very last day, so it’s always so frantic. Anyway, that trip to Nordstrom Rack is always so enjoyable for me because even though it’s a trip for him, I always throw a few items in for me. Win win! (Oh, don’t go thinking that’s the only trip to this great store–but it is the one visit of the summer I enjoy the most!)
