I would hang up your fringe skirts for another season and stock up on the pleats. Pleated skirts and maxi dresses move beautifully and show no signs of moving on. I, of course, love them with all black. No brainer. And if I could order them in a girl’s size 6, I’d be even more overjoyed. See also how I styled THIS olive look. It’s no secret, over-the-knee boots are the must-have of the season. Wear them up or down, with leggings or skinny jeans, and recently I even wore mine with a ruffle dress (more of that to come!). Talk about versatility! I love the fit-like-a-glove feel and the heel isn’t too high to make chasing my 3 year-old an impossibility. As I’m sure you know by now, the kid’s got tons of personality and spunk so chasing him happens more than I’d like. 5 Faux Fur I’m crushing on with Nordstrom

I partnered with Nordstrom to share some holiday outfit inspiration, minus the ugly sweater. I’m currently loving this ruffle bodysuit (great sizing), faux fur and a pop of red clutch. Nordstrom has been offering some awesome faux fur options for the holiday season from cobalt to brown. Despite being faux, their jackets look like real fur and it bumps up the chic level for almost any outfit. For example, I would also would wear it over this slip dress. So chic.

Don’t forget there’s in-store pick up for those days you’re running behind. Oh wait, that’s everyday. There’s nothing better than picking up a bag of goodies already paid for, no lines, and no worries. It’s been a busy week with family in town, so I will try out the Nordstrom pick -up option, bring one of my kids, get hot chocolate and call it a date! Hope you have a lovely weekend.

I partnered with Topshop, sharing some of my favorite pieces, including this versatile leopard coat and cozy stripe sweater. I’m thankful Los Angeles is giving me an excuse to bust out the layers with all this rain we got this weekend. Don’t forget a pop of white to bring out the oversize stripes. I’m kind of obsessed with odd tees. Whether it be its shape, a random bow, unsymmetrical length, or a middle split, I’m diggin’ it. Of course, comfort is a huge plus and one that everybody should just assume. We have too many great options (and life stress!) to wear uncomfortable clothes. Because I’m not a cute-skirt-matching-separates type dresser, stylish comfy tees are a mainstay. If they have an edge to them, well shucks, all the better. Topshop Military + Stripes

Two styles that are always on-trend but will always remain classics are military blazers and stripes. I’m a huge fan of the military look and a HUGE fan of Topshop. It’s no lie as a majority of my grams have at least one Topshop piece. Have you noticed? I’ll tell you why: they are affordable, on-trend, and carry a vast variety of day-to-night looks. Let’s face it, gold buttons make my heart skip a beat. Whether you’re a fan of the military look or just need to update your stripes, you can’t go wrong with this classic look.
