What to Buy Next from eBay

I’m the girl who is always wanting that piece no other girl has. Whether it’s a discontinued item like a vintage thick belt, embossed Chanel bag or Isabel Marant tee that you can’t find anywhere, I usually find on eBay. And that is just one of the reasons I’ve been shopping on eBay for over 10 years.

Here, I’m wearing Isabel Marant boots I’ve searched for on and off for years. I found them at my price point and in great condition. I paired them with a Gucci belt (also can be scored on eBay), denim skirt (found on eBay), stripe top, blazer and a red lip for a little French girl chic vibe. What is on your eBay search list?

Also, don’t forget to check the daily deals, which can usually be seen on the home page. I usually check the daily deals for random specials for the whole family – even good Christmas gifts! Today was a men’s scarf under $10! You really just never know what you’ll find. I guess that’s why I love it! Afterall, 85% of all clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry and beauty products on eBay are brand-new!

My Latest eBay purchase: Burberry Wrap

I’ve been shopping eBay for about a decade, so it’s no surprise I was on there recently looking for a Burberry wrap. My friend came into town with a Burberry wrap that was a cashmere and silk blend. She brought it to our dinners and it seemed to comfortably compliment every outfit. Fact: you always look chic when you’re comfortable. I joked to her I was going to steal it from her before she left, but I was only half kidding.  Instead of stealing it, I went on eBay to find one myself. Hers was a couple years old so I knew eBay was a number one destination for vintage or past season pieces. Well, I’m happy to report, I found one! It’s warm cashmere for chilly nights, cold airplanes, and really chic.

Here, I’m wearing a Burberry wrap I’ve probably searched for on and off for years! Finally, I found one at my price point, I was able to communicate with the seller about color, condition, etc, and voilà! I love the ability to filter my search on eBay from color, price, and even filter sellers! Did you know,  85% of all clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry and beauty products on eBay are brand-new?

I can quickly navigate what I want in terms of size and color and if I want the seller to accept offers, etc, and fast. The latter is helpful in my busy household when I have 5 kids asking me to cut apples, help with homework, and ask for the tenth time if they can have more chocolate pretzels! Can you say sugar high? I’m happy to report, my wrap arrived within a matter of days and it will be seen in future #Airportstyle posts.

Levi is only a week here so you can bet I am gravitating towards classic pieces that are still flattering in this postpartum phrase. I love that Nordstrom carries some awesome basics like this $12 black tank I have in white as well.  Style tip, when you find something good, you buy in bulk! Speaking of good, this hat is great for bad hair days, chic combat boots, and we can’t forget flattering jeans all shown here. All of which I find at Nordstrom at competitive prices (they price match!) mom-friendly perks (hello curbside pick-up) and Nordy Club, so I can still earn points for every purchase. 9 Winter Must Haves

Hello everyone!

If you get my newsletter, you may have already seen this, but it’s obvious I’m loving all things winter right now. From ordering faux garland to getting Levi a new stocking, to rocking to Mariah Caray’s All I want from Christmas, I guess you could say I’m in the Spirit.

Wow, how is October over already?! Per usual time is flying and I can’t believe it. Our little guy is growing so fast and we’re all so excited to celebrate our first holiday season with him.

And speaking of the holidays, winter is basically here and it’s time to share what I have to have to make it through the season. Here are my 9 winter staples:

1. What’s winter without a super cozy blanket?

2. Fall is all about a good turtleneck Sweater. And this one is under $60. 

3. I cannot recommend a silk pillowcase enough. It’s so good for your skin and hair.
4. A quality facial oil like this one from L’Occitane helps keep your skin extra moisturized.
5. These tan towelettes are miracle workers when it comes to helping you look tan sans the dangerous rays.
6. Even when it’s not winter, taking a hair and nail supplement can never hurt.

No one loves one shoulder tops more than I do.  I rounded up a couple faves as well as these jeans which have been a favorite post-partum. They’re super flattering. I happened to be between sizes so I went up a size and added a belly band. What do you think? It’s been a sleepy couple of weeks with lots of helpers, thankfully! with a couple flattering basics, I can still look my best without overthinking it. Our Top 9 Family Must Have Amazon purchases

I don’t know if you’e like me, but I love ordering from Amazon. I really feel like Prime delivery is a gift to mom’s. I can order what my family needs from the comfort of our home, without leaving the house! I order a couple of times a month and below is a sample of what I order and why.
to de-puff my tired under eyes and overall face. I keep it in my freezer.
It aids in sleep, vitamin absorption, and regularity. I took it regularly during my pregnancy and now while breastfeeding.
This blend is highly absorbable!
Okay, it says for kids, but I definitely love these.
Goji berries for our Açai bowls Just eat them out of the bag or use them over frozen yogurt, oatmeal or your favorite açai bowls. Love them!
Pilates ring -I swear by this thing! I try and do a 100 a day placed in between my thighs for a thigh workout that burns. I love that I can do this workout from my laptop computer!
So yummy!
I use this to aid in my milk supply while nursing.

Ever since I can remember I’ve always had an interest in fashion and trying new outfits and looks. I love taking the same item and styling it differently with other accessories and bringing an entirely new outfit to life. My passion for this is really how my blog got started and has led me to where I’m at today. I’m so thankful I get to share the items and trends I’m loving along with mom and family life happenings as well.
I’m honestly in a place I never thought I’d be! An amazing husband and 5 kids (still getting used to this number!) and a lakehouse that is seriously a dream come true. And with fall officially underway and us still spending time at Lake Arrowhead, I’m kind of letting it inspire my style right now. One item I’ve been turning to over and over again recently are these Kork-Ease boots.

If you Buy One Lip Product this month

If you ask anyone who knows me, knows I’m not an expert at makeup and keep my look pretty minimal. I prefer minimal and it fits my fast paced life of running a household of six and soon to be seven. I don’t have time to sit in front of the mirror in the morning, so what’s my 5min routine you ask, here it is. I try and put on primer (Supergoop sunscreen that acts as primer and great for this LA heatwave) concealer (a mix of RMS and Jouer concealers), bronzer and Jouer highlighter. I’ve also mentioned before, I try and use this face tanner 3x a week for some color to my face minus the UV Rays and potential damage from the sun. And. if I’m honest, I do the above while sitting at the breakfast table, strategically avoiding the honey and sticky oatmeal spills on my makeup bag, and in between homework help and clean up. One day I’ll have time for false lashes and maybe another layer of bronzer, but in the meantime, less is MORE, and I’d rather be a good mom balancing momlife with just enough bronzer and highlighter to feel a little extra. I think us mom deserve at least that.
